Ozone consists of six "mastering modules" that each
perform a specific mastering function. Click on any of the six modules below to
learn more about its operation.
Signal Chain Order
By default the order of processing is the
order listed above (the signal passes through the Paragraphic EQ, then the
Reverb, etc.) To learn about changing this default signal chain order click here...
Multiband Modules
Three of
the modules are multiband modules, meaning that the processing can be applied
independently to four frequency bands. For example, you could just compress
the lower frequencies with the Multiband Dynamics Processor and just widen the
upper frequencies with the Multiband Stereo Imager. Learn more about working
with Multiband Modules here...
Note: This help file is a quick reference for basic Ozone functions and controls. We have a separate "how to" guide that provides tips and techniques for mastering with Ozone. You can download this guide from http://www.izotope.com/products/audio/ozone/guides.html
